Celebrating Saudi National Day with Friends
Some journeys are remembered for the places we visit. Others stay with us because of the people we meet along the way.
During our recent visit to Saudi Arabia, the XTRA team had the wonderful opportunity to join our local friends and business partners in celebrating Saudi National Day — one of the Kingdom’s most meaningful occasions.
Celebrated every year on September 23, Saudi National Day commemorates the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1932. In 2026, the Kingdom celebrated its 96th National Day under the theme “Our Pride Lies in Our Nature.”
The theme reflects six qualities deeply rooted in Saudi society: authenticity, courage, determination, generosity, hospitality, and vision. These values connect Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural heritage with its aspirations for the future.
Experiencing Saudi Hospitality
For us, however, the most memorable part of the celebration was not simply learning about its history — it was experiencing the spirit of Saudi hospitality firsthand.
Dressed in the green and white colors of the celebration, we shared smiles, conversations, food, and unforgettable moments with our Saudi friends. From celebrating together with families to experiencing local traditions and Arabic calligraphy, every encounter gave us a closer look at the warmth and generosity that are such an important part of Saudi culture.
These moments reminded us that international business is about much more than products, meetings, and contracts.
It is about people.
Connections That Go Beyond Business
At XTRA, our journey has taken us to different markets and introduced us to people from many cultures around the world.
Every market is different. Every culture has its own traditions. Yet genuine relationships are built in much the same way everywhere — through trust, respect, communication, and time spent together.
Our visit to Saudi Arabia was another reminder of this.
Being invited to share such an important celebration with our local friends and partners was both a privilege and a memorable experience. It allowed us to see Saudi Arabia not simply as a market, but through the people, traditions, families, and friendships that give the country its character.
From Taiwan to Saudi Arabia
As XTRA continues to connect with partners around the world, experiences like this make the journey especially meaningful.
