The Dubai Museum of the Future, opening in February 2022, is a breathtaking museum of futuristic technology and immersive experiences, offering a glimpse into future technologies, innovations, and the sci-fi creations humanity will create for the future.

National Geographic magazine named it one of the 14 most beautiful museums in the world.

The area is divided into: Museum Experience, Journey to the Future, Children's World, Special Programs, Exploring Life Library, and Shopping Area.

Inside the museum

In the movie Prometheus, they thought they were inside a building, but the team discovered a giant head. David separated from the others and found a control room, realizing that the building was actually a massive alien spacecraft, covered in eons of dust. A hologram was displayed in the control room, showing that the spacecraft had once been heading towards Earth.

It's almost close to the earth. It takes 1 to 2 hours to visit this museum. It's best to come early, otherwise it will be crowded in the afternoon.

At the end of Prometheus, the girl Xiao is the only human survivor. Xiao finds the robot David, and together they leave the planet on another engineer spaceship, piloted by David.

David: Even after all this, you still believe, right?

Xiao: I don't want to go back to where we came from (Earth). I want to go to where they (the giant aliens) came from.

David: What do you hope to achieve by going there?

Xiao: They created us. Then they tried to kill us. They changed their minds. I want to know why.

David: The answer is irrelevant. Does it matter why they changed their minds?

Xiao: Yes. Yes, it matters.

David: I don't understand.

Xiao: Well, I guess it's because I'm human and you're a robot.
