XTRA was founded by my father and grandfather in 1958. From humble beginnings the company really took off in the 1980's to become the brand we all know and love today.

It was my father Geoffery's goal to create an exquisite  collection of products that work for our your lifestyle and look good doing it. XTRA strives to produce innovative, considerate and durable tableware to enjoy in the home, at the office or in the great outdoors.

We go above and beyond your expectations, ensure customer satisfaction and guarantee insulation for all vacuum products for up to a decade... and are so proud to have many awards to prove it!

We have over 60 years' experience in creating and producing vacuum and non-vacuum products. Our innovative technologies and sophisticated designs ensure rich flavour from your teas and coffees that lasts longer.

Every flask is crafted to perfection. It is our goal to optimise your XTRA experience and we strive to improve it just a little more with each new product.

Our manufacturing process is a perfect balance of science and artistry, bringing together reputable vacuum technology with top craftsmanship to guarantee quality across our glass and stainless steel products. Every product is put through a strict testing regime at every stage of its journey.

Whilst our years of experience in flask productions have made us pretty good at what we do, we're always striving for improvement. We keep our minds open, work with our customers and anticipate what the world of tomorrow will need.

Our journey

1958     Establishes in Taiwan for trade vacuum wares.   

1980       Started as vacuum manufacturer in Taiwan

1885-91  The largest supplier of thermal bottles in Taiwan 

1989     1st foreign investment,, the vacuum bottle assembly point in the Philippines.   

1990       G.L Productions (HK) Ltd. established & GL plant opened in Conghua, Guangzhou China. 

1991        Liaison office in Shenzhen China opened.

1992        1st production of doubled walled stainless steel vacuum jug shipped from Shanghai plant.

1993        Branch office in Gangzhou opened to monitor shipment quality for entire China.

1994        Joint-venue with Awe Scheuig e.K Germany established. Sister company Perfect Time Limited founded

1996     Branch office in Guangzhou opened as regional QA/QC office for Southern China. XTRA Design Team created

1998  Global Handel Import & Export GmbH in Bremen, Germany opened.

2001  Capital increased up to HKD 20,000,000.00.

2002    Joint venture for aluminium bottle in Ningbo established.

2003  First trade fair in Hong Kong, followed by Dubai (2004), Frankfurt (2005) and  Jeddah (2006)

2008      Branch office opens in Ningbo China. Sister company Fortune Dragon Ltd created.

2009      XTRA Hangzou office in China restructured into a wholly owned and a separate entity.

2011       G.L Production (HK) Ltd.  permanent address in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong.

2012      MONO, CORDIA, DUA & TWISTER introduced at  Ambiente Frankfurt, Germany.

2013      Domestic business in Mainland China starts. Central warehouse opens in Shanghai, China.

2014      TaipeiBlue launched.

2015      XTRA United Kingdom office opened.

2016      Company Identity System (CIS) launched. Netherlands office launched for European E commerce.

2018      GRANDE wins a coveted Red Dot Design Award in Germany.
